BANKING AND LENDING LAW . . .

The firm represents several financial institutions including banks, savings and loan associations and other lending institutions. In addition to general business loans, the transactions handled include construction loans, conventional permanent loans and commercial loans. The attorneys also frequently represent borrowers, particularly in the acquisition and refinancing of real estate projects.

All of the attorneys practice in this area to some degree, particularly Mr. Long, Mr. Ragsdale, Mr. Waters III, Mr. Ivens, Mr. Schmid, and Mr. Miller.
 

Certifications of Specialization are available to Tennessee lawyers in all areas of practice relating to or included in the areas of Civil Trial, Criminal Trial, Business Bankruptcy, Consumer Bankruptcy, Creditor's Rights, Medical Malpractice, Legal Malpractice, Accounting Malpractice, Elder Law, Estate Planning and Family Law. No lawyer at Long, Ragsdale & Waters, P.C. has been certified as a specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization in any of these areas of practice.  Further, in areas other than those listed, certification as a specialist is not currently available in Tennessee.
