CORPORATE AND COMMERCIAL LAW . . .

This area of practice includes organizing and advising business entities such as corporations, general partnerships, limited partnerships, joint ventures and limited liability companies. The firm handles acquisitions and sales of going concerns, assets and related transactions. The attorneys also handle the negotiation of contracts, leases and most other types of transactions governed by the Uniform Commercial Code. This practice area also includes the coordination of commercial loans for local and regional banks.

All of the attorneys engage in the practice of corporate and general commercial law.
 

Certifications of Specialization are available to Tennessee lawyers in all areas of practice relating to or included in the areas of Civil Trial, Criminal Trial, Business Bankruptcy, Consumer Bankruptcy, Creditor's Rights, Medical Malpractice, Legal Malpractice, Accounting Malpractice, Elder Law, Estate Planning and Family Law. No lawyer at Long, Ragsdale & Waters, P.C. has been certified as a specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization in any of these areas of practice.  Further, in areas other than those listed, certification as a specialist is not currently available in Tennessee.
