was born in Knoxville, Tennessee
on November 2, 1956. Mr. Ragsdale was raised in Knoxville and attended the
Webb School of Knoxville. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke
University and graduated magna cum laude in 1978. At Duke, Mr. Ragsdale was a member of Delta Sigma Phi. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1980, and was admitted to the Bar in 1981. While in law school, Mr. Ragsdale was Order of the Coif, a member of Phi Kappa Phi and the recipient of American Jurisprudence Awards for Corporations and Bills and Notes. Mr. Ragsdale formerly practiced with Kennerly, Montgomery & Finley in Knoxville.
