ENVIRONMENTAL LAW . . .

The firm's practice involves all areas of civil environmental law. Issues addressed include clean water, waste management and environmental permits. Also, in representing owners and users of land, as well as lenders which take land for collateral, the firm deals with questions of investigation and remediation of hazardous and toxic substances.

All of the attorneys encounter and handle environmental law issues, particularly Mr. Long, Mr. Ivens and Mr. Crossley.
 

Certifications of Specialization are available to Tennessee lawyers in all areas of practice relating to or included in the areas of Civil Trial, Criminal Trial, Business Bankruptcy, Consumer Bankruptcy, Creditor's Rights, Medical Malpractice, Legal Malpractice, Accounting Malpractice, Elder Law, Estate Planning and Family Law. No lawyer at Long, Ragsdale & Waters, P.C. has been certified as a specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization in any of these areas of practice.  Further, in areas other than those listed, certification as a specialist is not currently available in Tennessee.
