was born in Orlando, Florida, on
April 26, 1968. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the
University of Florida in 1990. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Stetson
University College of Law in 1993, graduating cum laude. While in law
school, Mr. Swartwood was a member of the Moot Court Board and Phi Kappa
Phi. Mr. Swartwood formerly was in private law practice in Orlando, Florida,
and also practiced in the U. S. Marines Judge Advocate General Corps. Mr.
Swartwood joined the firm in 2001 and became a shareholder on January 1,
2006.
