Ragsdale Recognized for Service to Children’s Hospital

Dennis Ragsdale was honored by the Tennessee Hospital Association during its 75th annual meeting in Nashville for his four decades of service to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.

Ragsdale, who is now board chair emeritus at Children’s Hospital, received the meritorious serve award from the THA at the end of the year in 2013 for his work as a board member.

“Dennis’ commitment to the hospital is beyond any that I have witnessed in my professional career,” said Keith Goodwin, President and CEO of Children’s Hospital. “His command of both the business and clinical aspects of Children’s Hospital set him apart from others. We are so pleased he has been recognized for the work he has done for us.”
