was born in New Rochelle, New York on
September 7, 1953. Mr. Crossley was raised in Knoxville and attended the
Webb School of Knoxville. He attended Vanderbilt University and obtained a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of
Tennessee in 1976. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of
Tennessee in 1979 and was admitted to the Bar in 1980. While an
undergraduate at Vanderbilt, he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega and at the
University of Tennessee was a member of the Campus Entertainment Board.
While in law school, Mr. Crossley was a member of Phi Alpha Delta (Justice
1979). Prior to joining the firm in April, 1990, Mr. Crossley practiced with
the firms of Baker, Worthington, Crossley, Stansberry & Woolf (1980-1987)
and Walt, Dyer and James (1988-1990). Mr. Crossley has been selected by the
United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee to serve
as one of its certified mediators. Mr. Crossley also currently serves as the
Chairman of Community Television of Knoxville, the local public access
television channel.
