Long, Ragsdale & Waters lost one of our stalwarts in R. Louis Crossley, Jr., who served the firm for 29 of the 39 years that he practiced law. Louis earned the selection by his peers in The Best Lawyers in America for his skills in administrative, regulatory and employment law. He guided employers, real estate brokers, property owners, entrepreneurs, and residential and commercial landlords through the intricacies of the law with both an impeccable attention to detail and the ability to connect with his clients. He earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Tennessee. Louis’ skill as an excellent litigator was evidenced by the results he achieved for his clients in all types of lawsuits that he handled throughout his career. Our thoughts are with his family, especially his wife, Laurie Ann Swick Crossley. Those who practiced with Louis cherished his wisdom, patience, mentorship and collegial spirit. R. Louis Crossley, Jr. will be missed.
